Description
Maui is a prominent figure in Polynesian mythology. According to legend, he is half-human and half-god, known for his mischievous pranks but essentially kind-hearted. He once used a magical fishhook to catch a giant fish that ultimately became Te Ika-a-Māui, the North Island of New Zealand. Maui stole fire for humankind, subdued the sun to slow its passage, and finally attempted to grant humans immortality by stealing the heart of the goddess of death, only to be accidentally killed by her.

Every time HP drops by 25%, randomly triggers a transformation (cooldown 5 seconds) and gains a shield equal to 20(50)% of maximum HP for 10 seconds. Shields stack and cannot be dispelled. The effect can trigger up to 5(8) times per match.
<Fishing Hook>: Steals 1 buff effect from all enemy heroes in range and deals 80(200)% of physical attack as true damage. 40(100)% of the damage dealt is returned as HP.
<Rope>: Binds all enemy heroes in range, reducing their movement speed by 30(60)% for 3(6) seconds. This effect cannot be dispelled. During this period, 60(90)% of damage taken by self is redirected to the bound enemies.
<Ember>: Inspires all friendly units in range, causing their next attack within 5 seconds to deal 3 hits of normal attack damage, each hit dealing 60(150)% damage (guaranteed critical hit).

Legend has it that Maui once used this very hook to reel in the sun and fish up islands, breathing new life into the land. Gripping the handle, you can feel the heartbeat of the waves; whenever your fighting spirit surges, blue flames reminiscent of the ocean’s Roar dance along the blade.
