Description
Rapunzel was born after her mother ate the sorceress Gothel’s magical lettuce and thus inherited magical powers in her golden hair. She was abducted by Gothel and imprisoned in a tower for eighteen years. Later, a prince wandered by and accidentally entered the tower; the two fell in love and, together, defeated Gothel, allowing Rapunzel to reunite with her parents.

Legend has it that Rapunzel used these very strands to tie her way down the tower and escape, rescuing a blind prince. When touched by moonlight, the hair shimmers with a golden glow, and it is said to have the power to heal wounds of the heart.
