Description

Massasoit was the leader of the Wampanoag alliance in 17th-century North America, renowned for promoting peaceful coexistence between Indigenous peoples and European colonists. He took the initiative to sign a peace treaty with the English Puritans of Plymouth, agreeing to mutual non-aggression and assistance—a pact that maintained nearly 50 years of peace. Massasoit also taught the colonists essential skills such as corn cultivation, fishing, and hunting, helping them survive the challenges of their early days in America and indirectly contributing to the first “Thanksgiving.” He is a pivotal figure in the history of interethnic relations during the colonial period of North America.

At battle start, generates "Land of the Pact" on Masasoit’s row, lasting for 20(50) seconds or until Masasoit is defeated. "Land of the Pact": Enemies within deal 6(15)% less damage. If they kill a unit, it's treated as violating the pact, causing the offender to transfer 3(6)% of max HP to Masasoit (up to 1(3) stacks per enemy), lasting until the area vanishes—these stacks accumulate and can’t be removed. Allies within have 12(30)% increased move speed and recover 3.2(8)% max HP every 5 seconds. Enemies who break the pact take extra 8(20)% damage. None of these effects can be dispelled.

Crafted from maple wood and animal hide, this item is adorned with an emblem of two hands symbolizing the alliance. Legend has it that Massasoit, in a harsh winter, signed this pact with representatives of the Pilgrims, forging a united front against famine and outside threats, and ushering in a brief era of peace. The parchment bears scorch marks from fireworks, and even when read by night, one can still catch the lingering aroma of campfire and corn.

The first two times an enemy unit breaks the pact, they will be stunned for 3 seconds as punishment. This effect can be dispelled.

When an enemy who has broken the pact is defeated, all allied units within the Pact Domain are inspired, granting them an additional 15% attack speed and 10% damage for 5 seconds. This effect cannot be dispelled.

The territory of the Covenant expands by 50%. While within the Covenant, gain 50% damage reduction, immunity to negative control effects, and recover 3% of max HP per second. If you fall in battle, the Covenant territory will not dissipate early.
