Description
Benkei: A towering warrior-monk famed for his strength and loyalty, particularly his devotion to Minamoto no Yoshitsune. He is best known for the "Gojo Bridge Sword Hunt," where he fought and was defeated by Yoshitsune, then became his loyal retainer. On the battlefield, Benkei fearlessly protected Yoshitsune, even during his final escape. Benkei's death—standing firm in battle despite being pierced with arrows—became legendary as "Benkei's Standing Death."

Hero's skill
Triggered at the start of battle, guard the friendly hero located directly behind (to the left in the formation) for 1 tile (if no hero occupies that spot, the following effects do not occur) and last for the entire battle. All 32(80)% damage taken by that hero is instead absorbed by the guardian. While guarding, the guardian’s attack drops to 0, but their damage reduction and defense increase by 16(40)%. This effect cannot be dispelled. Every 10 seconds, both the guarded target and the guardian’s unit recover 10(25)% of their max HP. If the guarded target dies, the guardian also perishes.

Rosary Armor: An armor made of purple sandalwood prayer beads, each containing relics of eminent monks, with a Daṇḍāpāla Buddha image at the heart. Impervious to blades, the beads emit protective chants when struck, repelling evil. During Minamoto no Yoshitsune’s escape, this armor withstood countless ambushes and remained standing even after Benkei’s death.
