Description
Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard, was one of the most famous pirates of the 18th century. He terrorized the shipping lanes of the Caribbean and the Atlantic with his imposing and terrifying presence. Blackbeard's disheveled black beard made him look like a ghost, and it was said that in battle he would stick a lighted cord of fire under his hat and allow the smoke to surround his head, increasing the fear of his enemies. Blackbeard was known for his daring and cunning tactics, and his flagship, the Queen Anne's Revenge, terrorized countless merchant ships. Despite his ruthlessness, Blackbeard is a shrewd strategist who prefers to achieve his goals through intimidation rather than force. Legend has it that Blackbeard buried countless treasures that have yet to be found. His legendary career ended in 1718, when he was rounded up and killed by the Royal Navy, but his story still holds an important place in pirate lore.
